Mount Gambier Marketplace and the Mount Gambier Police are teaming up again in 2026 for “Coffee with a Cop”, a free community event inviting residents from Mount Gambier and surrounding areas to come along for a coffee and a chat with members of the Mount Gambier Police.

Come and share a complimentary coffee with police officers, discuss community issues, ask questions and get to know a little more about our local cops and police work in the area.

The next session of Coffee with a Cop will be held on Thursday 2nd April from 10am - 11am in the Mount Gambier Marketplace food court.

All welcome - No bookings required.

Kids Club is Back in 2026!

Join us for a free morning of fun at Mount Gambier Marketplace at Kids Club, Friday 1 May from 9am to 9:45am. Parents relax with a free coffee, while the kids have fun with craft and play activities .

This May, Kids Club is celebrating Mother’s Day and special ladies in our lives with a fun and creative morning for kids. Children can enjoy decorating cookies to take home, getting colourful with face painting and creating sweet handmade gifts including pasta necklaces and heart cards. There’ll also be grass head seedling cups to make and grow at home, along with plenty of energy and laughs with a Just Dance session.

About Marketplace Kids Club:

This fun and interactive playtime session is planned and run by the fantastic Year 12 Child Studies Class from Grant High School and is the perfect opportunity for your little ones to use their imagination and make new friends!

Held on the first Friday of each month during Term time in the Kids Zone located next to Harper & Co for children aged from 2 to 5 years. Numbers are limited, with bookings required.

Please book session times for children attending ONLY. Parents do not require an additional ticket.

Start the Hunt

Visit the Crime Scene opposite Kaisercraft on Thursday 2nd April between 2pm and 5pm & Saturday 4th April between 10am and 2pm, and see the staff to collect your Hunt Card.
Follow the Clues to track down the 8 crime scene boards hidden inside participating retailers. Each one reveals part of the mystery - scattered snacks, toppled displays, suspicious footprints and more.
Answer each question on your Hunt Card as you explore.

Claim Your Reward

Return with a completed Hunt Card to receive a chocolate treat and Mum and Dad can enter our competition to win a BIG4 Family Escape valued at $1,000*!
Your last clue leads you to where the giant egg has finally been found - along with our special visitor the Easter Bunny!
